HealthAt BOC we aim to create an injury and illness free work environment ensuring everyone returns home at the end of each day safe and healthy.

Our health programs are about ensuring the continued wellbeing of employees.  They are targeted at the specific risks faced by each employee.  Examples of this include manual handling initiatives and health monitoring programs.

BOC’s commitments extends beyond the immediate workplace to include initiatives such as flu vaccination, awareness sessions on mental health, aging as well as the provision of an employee assistance program for all employees and their families.

Occupational healthcare check-ups
The aim of regular occupational healthcare check-ups is to prevent a particular material or activity in the workplace from having ramifications on the health of employees or causing illness. Individuals who are medically vulnerable should not be exposed to potentially harmful effects. However, if health problems do occur, these should be identified as early as possible, during the initial stages of a condition. Treatment can then be started promptly, with the aim of avoiding occupational illness.
